Sparring Partners
The Academy is now actively recruiting high level players who would like to spend up to 6 months on the Gold Coast working out and training with tournament players. These positions are not salaried positions - they are designed to give interstate and international players an opportunity to see if the Academy environment is made for them. Sparrers will be assisting our Academy Professionals with squad training and hitting with the players. They can also use the Academy facilities free of charge (court hire and fitness studio) for their own training at any time. Generally four hours of sparring is required per day (Mon-Fri) and 3 hrs on Saturdays. In return, the Academy will provide free accommodation and meals at the Academy Boarding House or in a Homestay environment along with a token weekly allowance if additional work is required.

Work/Play Program
The Academy currently has a position open in this program. The player in this program will be required to help with work at the Academy in return for free Academy training. The player’s schedule will consist of Academy general duties in the mornings (stringing, maintenance, reception, etc), followed by Academy training squads in the afternoons and Saturday mornings. This position is specifically for a player who perhaps cannot afford general Academy training, but is prepared to work hard to achieve their goals. Players who are not committed to giving 100% both on and off the court need not apply. Interested players can enquire at pcitarose@gmail.com

Junior Coach
The Academy's Pre-Academy program (Tiny Tots and Hot Shots) is expanding daily, and we are always sourcing enthusiastic junior coaches to become part of the Academy Coaching Team. The coach should be based locally, as the hours in the short term would only be 1-2 hours per day (afternoons). This will gradually expand and the coach will also have the option to take on private lessons. Interested coaches can enquire at pcitarose@gmail.com
