Links Club Corporate Networking Club
Hope Island Resort Golf Club sees its fair share of sports
stars on its lush greens particularly at the quarterly Links
Corporate Networking Club with Club Captain, Peter Senior,
playing in each of the events.
Links Club is held four times
a year and includes a round of golf and a sumptuous three-course
meal. After game, Master of Ceremonies, David Fordham interviews a guest
speaker of sporting background fame.
Past speakers at the club include: Australian PGA Winner - Peter Senior, AFL
legend Malcolm Blight, cricketing legend
Ian Healy, Rugby icon Chris "Buddha" Handy; cricketing
Invincible Bill Brown, cricket world cup players Andrew
Symons and Ian Harvey, cricketing character Jeff Thomson
and Olympic Gold Medalist Steven Bradbury.
Hope Island Golf
Club general manager, Alan Meacock, said the Links Corporate
Networking Club golf day is always a success and he is looking forward to holding the next
one. "The networking club was created to strengthen
networking opportunities amongst members and their guests."
Links Club Members commit to 4 games per year and invite guests
to make up a 4 person team for each event. Competition
played is usually a 2 ball ambrose with the team prize
being the total of the 2 ball scores.
