Bar raised higher with new Hope Island Resort Lake Lugano
Release
Demand for quality residential living at Hope Island Resort
on the northern Gold Coast continues unabated and has prompted
the release of the first stage of a $30 plus million luxury-housing
precinct on the shores of Lake Lugano within the resort.
The homes all feature expansive water views and residents
have direct buggy access to the Hope Island Golf Clubhouse
located nearby.
Called the Lake Lugano Collection all residences feature
four bedrooms, a double lock-up garage, separate buggy
space, three metre high ceilings on ground level, ducted
air conditioning, granite bench tops, European appliances
and a high standard of finish throughout.
Hope Island Resort’s general manager Peter Saba
said the homes would also have extensive waterfeatures
and timber decks on several levels leading down to the
water’s edge.
“The Lake Lugano Collection lifts our residential
product to a higher level yet again,” said Mr Saba.
“The Lakes precinct started the trend with special
architecture, unique floorplans and the concept of shared
central gardens and designs that reflected the indoor/outdoor
lifestyle that purchasers are looking for in southern
Queensland.
“The release expands on that and takes it to the
next level.”
Mr Saba said construction had started on the first stage
of the Lake Lugano Collection comprising 10 homes. Wilder
Constructions is on schedule to complete stage one in
May next year.
Residents will have the use of a 25-metre heated lap
pool, a state-of-the-art barbeque and entertaining area
with gas cook facilities, landscaped grounds and a park.
They will be literally only minutes from the clubhouse
by buggy.
Mr Saba said prices for the first homes in the Lake
Lugano Collection were still being finalised, but they
were expected to start in the mid-$900,000 range.
Hope Island Resort has gone from strength to strength
during 2003 with tens of millions of dollars in sales.
Mr Saba said waterfront blocks, apartments overlooking
the golf course, individual houses within The Lakes precinct
and dry lots fronting parkland on Gracemere Island had
all been eagerly sought by purchasers.
In addition the new Boardwalk Tavern, which opened recently,
has been a great success and the marina village has continued
to grow with more restaurants and shops opening.
“The golf course has been attracting players in
record numbers and the presentation of the whole resort
has never looked better,” said Mr Saba.
